The Mission of Carpenter's House Church
The holy mission of Carpenter's House Church in Tulum, QR, is to spread the Lord’s Gospel in Riviera Maya communities. While our nondenominational church is new to the neighborhood, our team is experienced in doing ministry work around Mexico. To fulfill our mission, we also work in partnership with Pastor Angel and Casa de Dios Centro Cristiano.
Past Ministry Work
We have started ministries in Mayan villages, where many had never heard about the Gospel but knew a religion that mixed parts of Catholicism with pre-Christian beliefs. However, faith in Jesus, the Son of God who lived, died for our sins, and conquered death and the grave for our salvation, was not even a minor theme in their belief structure. That is why our ministries aimed to spread the Gospel.
In one instance, John 3:16 was read in the Mayan language during a ministry meeting. Every Mayan in the room began to weep as the Holy Spirit drew their hearts toward Jesus. Then and now, our goal in spreading the Gospel, whether in Tulum or Mayan villages, remains the same: to bring those who have never heard of Jesus and never visited a church closer to the Son of God.
